Want to get involved? Why not volunteer

The close season  has brought plenty of changes to the Brandywell, with a new management team and several new signings ahead of the 2014 campaign.  With pre-season training well under way for the first team squad, we’re looking to improve our off the field offering as well.  Ahead of the new season DCFC Online is looking to overhaul our online presence and we are looking for your help.

This is an opportunity for you, or indeed someone you know who has an interest in journalism, web design, social media, or other areas.  We are looking for supporters who may be interested in any of the following areas:

  • Web design:
  • Redesign and maintenance of DCFC Online;
  • Graphic design:
  • Design of promotional materials and posters for print, DCFC Online and other channels;
  • Match Updates:  Home and away updates for club's social media channels;
  • Match Reports: Match reports for senior and underage teams;
  • Contributors:  DCFC Online, Cityview match programme; and
  • Photographers:  Match coverage, press conferences and other events

We are also considering expanding the content available in terms of video and audio available through DCFC Online and other social media channels.  Therefore we are interested in hearing from those interested in the following areas:on

  • Camera operator
  • Interviewer
  • Video Editor

Whilst we welcome interest from anyone, previous experience in some of the more technical areas is very welcome.  At the moment we are looking to put together a panel of volunteers in order to assess the skills and interests, in order to best assess the capabilities for the season going forward.

If you are interested in getting involved, or have any other ideas for the web presence in the coming season, please do not hesitate email kev@derrycityfc.net, including details of your skills and previous experience(if any).  Please include "DCFC Online" in the subject of your email.
