Glen set for tilt at All-Ireland Scór title

Watty Grahams Glen – Ulster Scór na nÓg Set Dancing Champions 2014.

Last Saturday evening in Silverbridge, Co Armagh, the set dancers from Watty Grahams Glen were crowned Ulster Scór na nÓg Champions 2014. These boys and girls treated a massive audience to a tremendous performance of The Borlin Set Figures 1 & 3. This young group of dancers have practised long & hard under the watchful eyes of Katey Gunning and Thomas Close. Glen and Derry have a great tradition in Scór and this young group of dancers thoroughly deserve to be in the All Ireland Scór na nÓg finals which will be held in Castlebar on Saturday 1st March at 3pm.

The Glen team is Caitlin McNally, Clare Gunning, Caoimhe McLaughlin, Maebh McGirr, Ruairi McFalone, Jack McGilligan, James McGilligan & Jack Gunning.

Glenullin quiz team will also represent Derry in the final of the Scór na nÓg Tráth na gCeist. The Glenullin quiz team is Fearghal Close, Dónal Close,James McKeown & Daniel O’Kane.
