He made over 100 appearances for the club scoring on eight occasions, many of these appearances in the Scottish Premier League. He spent the 2013 season at Dublin club Shamrock Rovers where he only made 10 appearances.
We also got the thoughts of his new manager, Roddy Collins,
“It’s great to have David on board. Pierce (Lafferty) and Michael (Hegarty) have worked with David since he came in and the lads put him through his medical yesterday which he flew through. David missed out on a lot of game time last season due to injury, but I’m very happy that they are all behind him now.”
“Like most of my signings to date, David has come into the squad and got stuck in straight away which is very pleasing. Before he joined up with the rest of the lads I spoke to people who managed and played with him in Scotland and they couldn’t speak highly enough of him. I feel that David will bring a lot of quality and experience to the squad as well as some versatility as he can be used in central defence as well as at right back.”
