January Comhaltas at The Elk
January’s Comhaltas takes place on Thursday 2nd at The Elk. The junior event takes place 7.30pm – 8.45pm followed by the senior session. The organisers wish to extend an open invitation to all singers and musicians to take part. Admission is £3 and includes a light supper.

Clipper’s Hobart triumph
Derry-Londonderry-Doire crossed the finish line into Hobart, Tasmania at 06:06 local time on December 29 to claim a class win in the blue ribbon Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
