Brian McIver has made eight changes to the starting line-up from that which began Derry’s opening McKenna game with Monaghan at Clones last Sunday.
Loup’s Aidan McAlynn captains the Derry team which sees McKenna Cup debuts for Swatragh’s James Kearney and Claudy’s Aaron Kerrigan. Patsy Bradley returns to the middle of the field alongside Eoghan Rua’s Niall Holly.
McIver has named a strong bench including the experience of Sean Leo McGoldrick and Fergal Doherty alongside newcomers Peter Cassidy, Paudie McGuian, Neill McNicholl and the Loup’s Anthony O’Neill.
