Two More Friendlies Added To The Calendar

Roddy Collins has secured two more friendly fixtures before the 2014 Airtricity League season starts.

To make up for the friendly fixtures that fell foul to the weather in the past few weeks, Derry City have lined up friendlies against local Co.Derry sides Limavady United and Coleraine.

All proceeds from the match against Coleraine will go to Derry City’s All-Time leading goal scorer Mark Farren, after similar plans for Mark fell through after the cancellation of the friendly against Glentoran due to snow.

The details for two new friendlies are as follows:

• Wednesday 26th February, 7.45pm – Limavady United vs Derry City - Showgrounds, Limavady
• Saturday 1st March, 12pm – Derry City vs Coleraine FC – Brandywell Stadium
