A packed Slaughtneil GAA was the venue for the first semi-final of Scór na nÓg last Sunday evening which saw
Slaughtneil, Bellaghy, Glen, Limavady, Ardmore, Loup, Ballinascreen and Lavey (quiz only) perform for a place in the county final.
The qualifiers were:
Ceili dancing: Glen football and Slaughtneil Hurling
Solo singing: Faoiltiarna Burke (Slaughtneil Hurling), Therese Mellon (Slaughtneil Camogie)
Instrumental Music: Loup & Glen Football
Recitation: Maebh McGirr (Glen) and Sarah Kelly (Ballinascreen)
Ballad Group: Glen & Bellaghy
Leíriú: Slaughtneil Camogie & Slaughtneil Hurling
Set Dancing: Glen
Quiz: Lavey Hurling & Lavey Football
These acts will join the two qualifiers from each discipline from the next semi-final on Friday night 22nd Nov in Glenullin at 7.30pm. The final will be held in Glenullin on Sunday 24th November at 6pm.
