The North Derry Allianz INTO Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Hurling Blitz took place in Roe Valley Leisure Centre on Fri 18th October.
Seven schools took part in the 5 a side indoor blitz, each school played six games. There was some great hurling skills on display, all the children involved had a very enjoyable day. The top four schools now go through to the County Doire Allianz INTO Cumann na mBunscol Quarter finals which will be held in early 2014.
The four schools that got through are St Canice Dungiven, St Mary’s Altniure, St John’s Dernaflaw and St Canice’s Feeny. A big thank you to Kevin Hinphey, Richard Ferris and Colm Dillon who referee and ensured the day ran smoothly. Thank you also to Chris Collins and Ashleen McCaul who helped organise the event and the fixtures.
