Due to Dundalk’s FAI Ford Cup appearance on Sunday 6th October, the Dundalk vs. Derry City match on Friday 4th October has been brought forward to Monday 30th September.
And as Dundalk’s opponents in the Cup Semi-Final Drogheda United’s league game against Shelbourne on the same date has also been moved, Shelbourne had Derry City are able to move their already rescheduled game into the free Friday night slot on the 4th October, meaning no fixture congestion or long period without a game for either squad.
